Illustration of how a Package Sewage Treatment Plant works. The effluent falls by gravity into the plant, where there resulting liquid is aerated by an air diffuser which slowly, and effectively feeds oxygen to the untreated effluent, this generates a natural aerobic biological break down process which means the effluent meets and exceeds discharge quality. The treated effluent then discharges by incoming displacement by gravity through the outlet and onto the designated discharge point, either to a natural water course or through a specialist soak away system designed by Digging It Groundworks ltd.
